Our Open Evening is one of the most important events in our school calendar. It provides us with an opportunity to meet prospective students and their families, showcase our school and our students, and share the exciting opportunities that await your child at Helsby High School.
Due to the overwhelming interest in our school and the large number of families expected to attend, we have divided the evening into two sessions. Please see the timings below. This will help to ensure that all students and their families have an enjoyable and positive experience.

The evening will provide you and your child with an opportunity to:
· Meet our students and hear about their experiences of life at Helsby High School.
· Explore our subject departments and meet members of our staff team.
· Learn more about Helsby High School and meet members of the Senior Leadership Team.
· Experience our ethos and atmosphere first-hand.
The evening will begin with a welcome in the Main Hall, led by members of our Senior Leadership Team and supported by some of our students.
Following the welcome, our current students will guide parents/carers and prospective students on tours around the school. During these tours, you will have the opportunity to visit our subject departments, meet staff and explore the school throughout the evening.
Members of the Senior Leadership Team will also be available throughout the evening to answer any questions you may have.
Feedback from our previous Open Evenings has been overwhelmingly positive, with families particularly valuing the opportunity to speak directly with our students and staff and to experience the school for themselves.
