We wish to appoint a talented, enthusiastic and suitably qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team and provide high quality support to our students.
The main responsibilities for the post holder for this role will be:
– To monitor and complete all aspects of medical referrals and communications with Paediatric services, including review requests and observations. As capacity builds, deliver intervention based on identified need where provision is not already in place or available
– Link/review meetings with SENCO, pupils and parents
– Support students on bespoke timetables and the review process
– Management of LSC under line management of Deputy SENCo, including deployment of Teaching Assistants
– Co-ordinate the completion/testing, evidence gathering for SEND assessment of need investigations (internal and external), deliver intervention to identify and and break down barriers to learning to potentially include some ELSA.
– Updating classcharts and sharing information with stakeholders
– Line manage Teaching Assistants
