We are delighted to celebrate the success of our Year 8 students Jessica, Rose, Hana and Sophie, who have recently completed the Bronze Industrial Cadets Award through a fantastic 12-week STEM project in partnership with INOVYN.
Working alongside engineer Toby from INOVYN, the students took on the exciting challenge titled “A Theme Park for the Future”. Over the course of the project – completed entirely in their own time – the team designed and built an impressive model of a futuristic, sustainable theme park.
The project helped the students develop a wide range of valuable skills. Through independent research and collaboration, they demonstrated excellent teamwork and communication. They also honed their time management and report writing abilities, and confidently delivered a final presentation showcasing their ideas and achievements.
This hands-on experience has given the students a brilliant insight into the world of engineering and innovation. Congratulations to Jessica, Rose, Hana and Sophie on their hard work, creativity and commitment!
