Our Year 6 Open Evening is one of the most important days on our school calendar. We get to meet our prospective students and share the exciting opportunities available at our school. We are pleased to welcome all our partner primary schools to our Open Evening event at Helsby High School on Thursday 26th September 2024.
The evening will provide you with an opportunity to meet with current students and staff, see many of our facilities in use and get a feel for the school’s ethos and atmosphere as you consider the very important choice of secondary school for your child. Feedback from our previous evenings has always been very positive, with students and parents appreciating having the opportunity to meet and talk with Helsby High School students and staff.
The evening will include a Headteacher’s Welcome, supported by some of our students, for approximately 30 minutes in the Main Hall and current Helsby students will be leading tours around the school’s different departments and facilities. Senior staff will be available throughout the evening to answer questions about the school and the process of moving on to secondary school.
