We were delighted to host students and parents/carers at our Sixth Form Helsby Open Evening on Thursday 12th Oct. We were excited to share our range of A Level/Vocational pathways, give you the chance to meet our expert teachers and see our Sixth Form Areas.
Sixth Form Helsby are proud to offer you over 30 exciting courses at A-Level, BTEC, Level 3 or equivalent, with a track record of successfully supporting students’ onwards progression, including to Oxbridge. In addition to a guaranteed excellent education, we provide students with a comprehensive pastoral support system, and an innovative Network structure to encourage students to maximise their potential and achieve their desired future pathways. We provide all of our students with award winning careers guidance, provided from staff within school, and from independent careers advisors.
We aim to enrich our students as much as possible to ensure they leave Sixth Form Helsby as well rounded, employable individuals, with the appropriate skills to navigate life in Sixth Form Helsby and beyond. We encourage Student leadership roles through our wide range of opportunities for personal and academic development at Sixth Form Helsby, and we provide a weekly timetabled enrichment curriculum, offering diverse opportunities for our students to discover new skills and hobbies.
Our Leadership Team talks took place at 5:30pm and 6:00pm on this evening and students and parents/carers were able to hear about the many opportunities we offer you in Sixth Form Helsby and hear from current Sixth Form Students about their individual experiences so far. Please also find below the link to the new Sixth Form Helsby Application Form. The new application round 1 opens on Monday 16th October and the first-round closes on Friday 8th December.
