Certificates are usually available to students from the end of November in the same year that they sat their exams. Parents/students will be notified when certificates are available for collection.
Where possible students should collect certificates themselves, in person. If students are no long studying at Helsby High then they will need to bring photo ID with them. Students can nominate another person to collect certificates on their behalf. To do this a Third Party Collection Form must be completed and signed by the students. The third party collecting the certificates must bring this form, along with photo ID to collect the certificates.
Replacement certificates cost around £45 each, so please keep them safe.
Please note that certificates are not ordinary posted due to their value and importance.
Certificates are only required to be kept by the school for a minimum of 12 months. After this time, the school is able to destroy any uncollected certificates. If you have not collected your certificates within this 12 month period, check with the Exams Office to see if we still hold them. If the certificates are no longer with us, please contact the Exam Board that awarded the qualification to arrange a replacement; AQA, EDUQAS, OCR, Pearson.
